Be not afraid of snakes (usually). Only one in 3,000.000 people get killed by one. No one has ever been killed by a snake in Alaska. (There are none there.)

Don't give up your frozen frogs for dead. Some frogs can be frozen solid, then thawed, and continue living.

If grabbed by an alligator push your thumbs into its eyeballs, it will let go immediately.
